Your support funds practical work that opens Scripture to more people in Uganda, across languages and across disabilities. It also supports group listening settings where printed Bibles are hard to use.

 

Where your donation goes

  • Bible translation into Ugandan local languages
    Translation projects take an average of 13 years to complete. Uganda has 40+ living languages, yet only 22 have either a complete Bible translation, a New Testament, or a Bible portion. Your giving helps complete current projects and begin new ones.
  • Braille Bibles for the blind
    Kampala Bible Centre wants blind people to interact with Scripture. A Braille Bible costs an average of USD 500 to 600. Donations help increase access for blind readers in Uganda.
  • Scripture access for the deaf
    Deaf people in Uganda do not yet have a sign language Bible. Support helps move this work forward so deaf readers can access God’s Word.
  • Faith Comes by Hearing (audio Scripture distribution)
    Donations support audio Bible use in group settings, including communities with visual disability, prisons, refugee camps, and schools. These groups gather to listen to Scripture together.
